Well done to the 10 Cadets from the CCF (RAF) Section who managed to get gliding with 644 VGS at RAF Syerston. Whilst the morning looked a little bit glum and wet, all Cadets managed to get up and gliding for two sorties each. It was great to be joined by Cadets from 2110 (North Walsham) Squadron ATC and Read School CCF.
All Cadets now walk away earning their Blue wings and with huge smiles on their faces. A massive thanks to all the staff and volunteers from 644 VGS who made this possible.Â
Year 4 spent a fun and informative day at Banham Zoo on Monday. They took part in a workshop on animal diets and food chains, where they met Stacey the stick insect. They then spent the rest of the day exploring the zoo. Despite the warm weather, they were able to see lots of the exciting animals. The giraffes and sea lions were definitely the favourites.Â

News > Year 3 enjoyed a fantastic trip to West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village
Year 3 had a fantastic, but very hot trip to West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village on Tuesday. They spent time looking round the museum and were lucky enough to be able to handle artefacts – some of which were over a thousand years old! They then explored the reconstructed houses and learnt about how the Anglo-Saxons lived.Â

The Careers Department embraces working with the OG Club to link with Old Greshamians for talks, advice, mentoring & work experience opportunities.
At the beginning of June we welcomed back not one but three Old Greshamians.
Marietta Hickman B (2002 – 16) spoke to Year 12 pupils studying Business about starting her own business, Cheeky Nibble.
Lottie Alston B (2009 – 14) came back to her former House (Britten), now Queens’, to talk about her digital design study and work journey.
Pat Walton H (2015 – 20) gave insight to sports job roles from his internship with Bristol Sport.
This is such a fantastic platform of support.

The final Music and Munch of the year celebrated our school leavers
News > The final Music and Munch of the year celebrated our school leavers
The final Music and Munch of the academic year celebrated our wonderful school leavers. In a showcase of their versatility, we enjoyed performances from Alice S on piano, Noah W on cello, Julius S on french horn, and Beatrice G and Summer H singing. We will greatly miss them in the Music Department and wish them all the best. Year 12 pupils Ruby S and Larkin A also stepped in at remarkably short notice to perform – a brilliant indication of the high standard of next year’s leading musicians. Thank you to all those who have supported our Music and Munch recital series this year and we look forward to next year’s concerts.
