Residential School Trips both in the UK and abroad are important for Gresham’s pupils. Our Year 9 visit the French and Belgium Battlefields in October. Other academic trips have included a 10 day Physics trip to NASA in Orlando, a weekend to Cerne in Switzerland in recent years. Recent sport tours have include Sri Lanka for hockey and cricket, a ski trip to France, Holland for hockey, Cornwall and Portugal for the rugby teams. CCF attend Easter and Summer Camps and pupils are encouraged to attend CCF courses in the holidays to support their interests such as skiing, outdoor adventure and military skill development. We have a thriving Duke of Edinburgh’s Award with expeditions regularly in the local area, Peak District, Lake district and Yorkshire Dales. We have a link to a conservation programme in the Maasai Mara and we have led trips to Rwanda in previous years.
