Tennis forms part of the games programme in the Summer Term.
All the girls from Year 5 to Year 8 play once a week and it is a part of the PE curriculum for all in Years 7 and 8. There are four astroturf courts at the Prep School and we also have use of the twelve astroturf and hard courts at the Senior School.
The girls are coached by committed and dedicated staff, who share their expertise across a range of abilities and age groups.
Matches are played against local schools, including Beeston Hall, Glebe House and the Senior School. These involve both boys and girls and are played in a competitive manner with an emphasis on developing match play and enjoyment. We also enter the LTA Schools Norfolk tennis leagues in Division 1 and our girls have been Norfolk Champions for the last two years.
Every child has the opportunity to take part in tennis activities after school. We offer recreational tennis as well as professional coaching.
