News > The Senior and Junior colloquiums have continued to thrive over the past few months
The Senior colloquium has continued to enjoy some great presentations and discussions over the past few months. Staff members have drawn upon their expertise and interests to present ideas aimed at stretching our more able pupils, ranging from music videos and Banksy, to philosophy, land-use, A.I, and more. Recently, pupils enjoyed a virtual visit to the International Space Station,
The Junior colloquium, involving the more able pupils in Years 9 and 10, has also continued to thrive. Staff have recently lead discussions and activities on topics like the evolution of language, the meaning of art, the future of technology, and the global impact of the designer Vivienne Westwood on fashion, art, and political activism- which involved pupils dressing in some rather funky designer clothes!
On Sunday April 30th more than 110 participants aged from 3 to…more than 50 took to the start of the second Gresham’s Triathlon. They were greeted by glorious sunny skies and a large numbers of spectators who helped create a real sense of atmosphere for those undertaking this significant challenge. Laps in the pool, a cycle around our School Woods and a lap or two running around Eccles Field certainly made for an energetic Sunday morning and afternoon! Many congratulations to all those who competed and we look forward to welcoming you back next Summer Term!

They all agreed that everything seemed a lot smaller than they remembered!
