At Gresham’s, our pupils are encouraged to develop and foster a sense of moral and social responsibility, with many pupils and staff regularly fundraising for local and international charities.
Gresham’s has a particularly close relationship with our ongoing Community Charity Partner the Holt Youth Project; a local charity which aims to provide a safe environment for young people to meet and socialise with the minimum of supervision, building their social communication skills and promoting ownership. Throughout the year our pupils get involved in a variety of exciting fundraising events to raise funds for this worthwhile cause. Past activities have included a staff vs prefects hockey match, sponsored walks, dressing up and organising cake sales, to name a few. Last year, the Charity Committee raised £23,486 for The Holt Youth Project. To read more about last year’s fundraising activities, please click here.
Community Outreach
Pupils in the Senior School are regularly involved in charity events and volunteering in the community. Team Eco, a group of pupils who are championing environmental change around the School, have recently achieved the Eco-Schools Gold Award by promoting environmental change.
